BACKUP > Backup > 2 - Backup Account > Package rates

2.1.1.1 Package rates

When choosing the package rate you can specify how the system should behave if you exceed the amount of resources. This option is selected when creating a Backup Account with package rate, and can then be changed at any time: either by switching from a Pay-per-Use rate to a package rate, selecting a different package or even by keeping the same package.

The three available options are as follows:
  • The excess resources will be calculated using the Pay-per-Use tariff
The system will calculate the excess resources (compared to your tariff plan) based on the Pay-per-Use tariff.
  • The Backup account will be upgraded automatically to the advanced Tariff Plan
This option makes an auto-renewal (based on the credit of your arubacloud.com account) switching to the advanced package without requiring the user to make the renewal.
  • The Backup account and the associated services will be disabled
The system will disable the Backup account, suspending the backup Jobs. You can always proceed to renew the service manually.

Running out of resources with the Cloud Backup 50000 package
