10.1 Connecting a Cloud Server to the Internet Cloud Server Pro service guide Cloud Server Smart service guide

A public IP associated with a Cloud Server enables the latter to be reached via the Internet network. Furthermore, the Cloud Server to which a public IP is assigned, has direct access to the network on which you can rely on a very high dedicated connection speed, almost comparable to the maximum speed of the actual network card.

The arubacloud.com Cloud Computing service provides a public IP for each Cloud Server which is already included in the cost of the actual Cloud Server, and is already configured for that Server.

The public IP provided with the Server lets you connect to the Server Cloud to which it is associated, via tools such as RDP (Windows server) or SSH (Linux server).

If you delete this public IP or if its link is removed, you will only be able to access that Server using the Recovery Console, or other Servers that are on the same network.
