2.5 Deleting a snapshot

A snapshot can be deleted in two ways:

Deleting a snapshot from the Snapshots section

To delete a snapshot from the Snapshots section, follow these steps:

sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
in the left vertical menu, under SERVICES select Compute;
in the Snapshots area, click on Go to Snapshots;
in the Snapshots section find the snapshot you want to delete and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
select Delete from the list of options;
the Delete snapshot window will open asking you to confirm;
click on Delete snapshot to finish.

To delete a snapshot from the Cloud Server details page, follow these steps:

sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
in the left vertifcal menu, under SERVICES select Compute;
in the Cloud Servers area click on Go to Cloud Servers;
in the Cloud Servers section, find the Cloud Server with the snapshot you want to delete and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
select Manage from the list of options;
this will take you to the Cloud Server details page;
in the lower part of the page, select the Snapshot tab;
find the snapshot you want to delete and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
select Delete from the list of options;
the Delete snapshot window will open, asking you to confirm;
click on Delete snapshot to finish.
