2.3 Editing a snapshot

You can only edit a snapshot if the status of the Cloud Server is On or Off.

A snapshot can be edited in two ways:

Editing a Snapshot from the Snapshots section

To edit a snapshot from the Snapshots section, follow these steps:

sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
in the left vertical menu, under SERVICES select Compute;
in the Snapshots area, click on Go to Snapshots;
in the Snapshots section click on the snapshot you want to edit and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;

select Edit from the list of options;

in the Edit Snapshot section, you can make changes to:

1. Create Snapshot	Cloud Server from which to take the snapshot
2. Details	Snapshot name
	Tags
	Destination project
3. Billing frequency

click on the Confirm button on the right of the sticky bar to save the changes.

To edit a snapshot from the Cloud Server details page, follow these steps:

sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
in the left vertical menu, under SERVICES select Compute;
in the Cloud Servers area, click on Go to Cloud Servers;
in the Cloud Servers section, find the Cloud Server with the snapshot that you want to edit and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
select Manage from the list of options;
this will take you to the Cloud Server details page;
in the lower part of the page, select the Snapshot tab;
find the snapshot you want to edit and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;

select Edit from the list of options;

in the Edit Snapshot section, you can make changes to:

1. Create Snapshot	Cloud Server from which to take the snapshot
2. Details	Snapshot name
	Tags
	Destination project
3. Billing frequency

click on the Confirm button on the right of the sticky bar to save the changes.
