1.4 Deleting an Elastic IP

You can only delete Elastic IPs that have not been assigned to resources.
Deleting an IP address cannot be undone. The IP address will become available again and can be purchased by another user.

To delete an Elastic IP follow these steps:
  • sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
  • in the left vertical menu, under SERVICES select Network;
  • in the Elastic IPs area, click on Go to your IPs;
  • in the Elastic IPs section, find the IP address you want to edit and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
  • select Delete IP from the list of options;
  • the Delete Elastic IP window will open, asking you to confirm the action;
  • click on the Delete Elastic IP button to finish.
The deleted IP address will show the status Deleting.
 
It will take several minutes for the IP address to be deleted.
