1.2 Creating a security group

To create a security group, follow these steps:

go to the details page of the VPC Network in which you want to create the security group;
in the Security Group section, click on + Create new Security Group;
the Create new Security Group procedure will require the following details:
- 1. Details
  - Security Group name: this is the name that will be used to identify the security group (naming rules).
  - Tags (optional): you can assign tags to each security group created to facilitate searching in the list of security groups (tagging rules).
Default: you can set it as the default security group.
Click on the Confirm button
Click on Confirm on the right of the sticky bar to finish creating the security group.
The security group created will be displayed in the list in the Security Group section and will display the status as Creating. It will take several seconds for the security group to be created.
