You can only disconnect a volume from a Cloud Server is the Cloud Server is switched off.
To disconnect a volume from an individual Cloud Server, follow these steps:
- sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
- in the left vertical menu, under YOUR SERVICES, select Manage > Computing;
- in the Cloud Servers area, select Go to Cloud Servers;
- in the Cloud Servers section, find the Cloud Server from which you want to disconnect a volume and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
- select Manage from the list of options;
- this takes you to the Cloud Server details page;
- in the lower part of the page, select the Storage tab;
- all volumes connected to the Cloud Server will be displayed;
- find the one you want to disconnect and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
- select Disconnect from the list of options;
- the Disconnect volume pop up will appear, asking you to confirm;
- click on Disconnect volume to finish.
