1.1.1 Status of a volume

The status of a volume can be classified as follows:
 
Volume status Description of status Action
Creating The volume is being created. Wait for creation to be completed.
Not in use The volume has been created but has not be assigned to a resource. You need to assign the volume to a resource in order to use it.
Active The volume is active. The volume is active.
Updating The volume is being updated following changes made. Wait for the update to be completed.
Payment suspended Creation of the volume has been suspended due to insufficient credit. A sufficient credit top up is required to cover the cost of creating the volume.
Deleting The volume is being deleted having been removed using the Kubernetes console. Wait for deletion to be completed.
Suspended System verification checks failed. Wait, the system will continue to attempt to create it;
if it does not succeed, the status will update to Failed.
Failed A Suspended volume has been manually deleted by the Kubernetes console. -
The volume creation failed the system verification checks. Check in the failure notifications.
