1.3 Viewing Block Storage volumes

Volumes can be viewed from different areas:
  • Block Storage - all the volumes you have created;
  • Cloud Server - only the volumes that you have allocated to an individual Cloud Server.
  • Kubernetes Cluster - only the volumes you have created on a single Kubernetes cluster.

Viewing all Block Storage volumes

To view all Block Storage volumes, follow these steps:
  • sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
  • in the left vertical menu, under YOUR SERVICES select Manage > Storage;
  • in the Block Storage area, select Go to Block Storage;
  • scroll down the Block Storage section;
  • select the Volumes tab;
  • you can view the list of all the volumes you have created;
    • each volume will show:
      • Volume name;
      • ID;
      • Tags;
      • Creation date;
      • Status;
      • Type of allocated resource;
      • Name of allocated resource;
      • Size (in GB);

Viewing volumes of an individual Cloud Server

To view the volumens of an individual Cloud Server, follow these steps:
  • sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
  • in the left vertical menu, under YOUR SERVICES select Manage > Computing;
  • in the Cloud Servers area, select Go to Cloud Server;
  • in the Cloud Servers section, find the Cloud Server of which you want to view the volumes and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
  • select Manage from the list of options;
  • this takes you to the Cloud Server details page;
  • in the lower part of the page, select the Storage tab;
  • volumes connected to the Cloud Server will be displayed and can be sorted by:
    • Volume name;
    • Tags;
    • Creation date;
    • Status;
    • Size (in GB).

View volumes of an individual Kubernetes cluster

To view the volumes of an individual Kubernetes cluster, follow these steps:
  • sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
  • in the left vertical menu, under YOUR SERVICES select Manage > Containers;
  • in the Aruba Managed Kubernetes area, select Go to clusters;
  • in the Aruba Managed Kubernetes section, find the cluster of which you want to view the volumes and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
  • select Manage cluster from the list of options;
  • this takes you to the cluster details page;
  • in the lower part of the page, select the Volumes tab;
    • each volume will show:
      • Volume name;
      • Creation date;
      • Status;
      • Size (in GB).
