1.1.2 Resource values and vCPU/RAM ratio

Below are the minimum and maximum values for the resources.

For shared resources, only the storage size can be configured.

Shared resources MySQL Microsoft SQL Server
Storage* from 1 GB to 100 GB from 1 GB to 100 GB

* 1 GB increments for storage

With Cloud DBaaS it is not possible to downgrade the resources configured during setup. Resources can only be upgraded.
For dedicated resources, you can configure the size of your vCPU, RAM, and storage.

Dedicated resources MySQL Microsoft SQL Server PostgreSQL
vCPUs from 1 to 24
1 unit increments
from 4 to 16
2 unit increments
from 1 to 24
1 unit increments
RAM from 1 GB to 72 GB from 12 GB to 50 GB from 1 GB to 72 GB
Storage from 10 GB to 500 GB
10 GB increments
from 100 GB to 1,000 GB
10 GB increments
from 10 GB to 500 GB
10 GB increments

You can only increase the RAM by 2 GB in relation to the 3 to 1 vCPU ratio.

vCPU/RAM ratio with dedicated resources

Regardless of which database you chose (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL) when setting up Cloud DBaaS with dedicated resources, the ratio between vCPUs and RAM must be 1 to 3, with one exception:

You can only increase the RAM by 2 GB in relation to the 3 to 1 vCPU ratio.

vCPUs Min. RAM Max. RAM
1 1 GB 3 GB
2 6 GB 8 GB
3 9 GB 11 GB
... ... ...
24 72 GB 72 GB

With Cloud DBaaS it is not possible to downgrade the resources configured during setup. Resources can only be upgraded.
No. licenses vCPUs Min. RAM Max. RAM
4 4 12 GB 14 GB
6 6 18 GB 20 GB
... ... ... ...
16 16 48 GB 50 GB

The number of Microsoft SQL Server licenses (which cannot be selected) is related to the number of vCPUs on a 1 to 1 ratio.
