Choosing the Operating System
Another important step in the configuration of your Cloud Server is the choice of operating system.
Of course the choice of operating system is fundamental to using the Cloud Server and specific competences to a given a particular OS and/or version. If you want to install a particular or specific application on your own virtual machine it is worth consulting the application provider first, to choose the operating system version most suited to the actual application.
All the possible parameters for making this choice are taken into account, just as in the case of Hypervisors, you cannot change the operating system of a virtual machine once you have created it.
By means of the Cloud Computing service you can use a
custom template/OS
or more simply opt for a template from those available:
