5.4.4 Disable/Enable Jobs

Disabling a Job is technically suspending the running of the Job. Remember that even if an unscheduled Job (where the frequency has not been set) is shown as "enabled", it is as though it is "disabled".

Disable a Job

To disable a Job, go to the "JOBS" section.

From the list of Jobs shown, choose the one that you want to disable by clicking on that line (it will be highlighted in blue), then click on "Job" in the top right corner and choose "Disable" from the dropdown menu.

A disabled Job will not be run until it is re-enabled. Disabling a Job does not change the schedule that has been set up, it just suspends it.

Enable a Job

To enable a Job (that has previously been disabled), go to the "JOBS" section.

From the list of Jobs shown, choose the one that you want to enable by clicking on that line (it will be highlighted in blue), then click on "Job" in the top right corner and choose "Enable" from the dropdown menu.
