Welcome to the Knowledge Base of the Aruba.it Cloud Backup service, which allows you to create Backup Accounts used to access the Backup Control Panel to configure Servers on which you can schedule backups.
1.1 General description of the Cloud Backup service
From the Backup Control Panel users can configure the Servers and schedule the backups, choosing which data (files, folders, file systems ...) to select, the data retention period and the schedule for performing the backups
2.2 Consumption of the Backup Account credit
The choice of the rate plan depends on what kind of use you will make of the Cloud Backup service. For small backups we recommend the usage-based rate, whereas for frequent use with large backups we recommend one of the package rates.
5.3 Job: definition, features and actions
The Job represents the backup scheduled on a specific Server, configured from the Backup Control Panel. The Jobs are displayed in details page of each Server, in the "Computers" section.
