Encryption at-rest
This service is always enabled by default and does not require activating.
Encryption at-rest is a form of encryption that protects data saved in storage systems. Data is encrypted before being written onto the storage medium and requires decryption before it can be used. This type of encryption ensures data security in the event of unauthorized access.
Data at-rest is protected by symmetric encryption (AES) with a 256 bit key.
