1.2.1 Adding a rule (inbound/outbound)

Inbound and outbound rules cannot be edited once created. If you need different rules, you will have to create new ones.

To create an inbound or outbound rule in a security group, follow these steps:

go to the details page of the VPC Network containing the security group to which you want to add a rule;
the Security Group section contains a list of the security groups connected with the VPC Network;
find the one you are looking for and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
select Manage Security Group from the list of options;
this will take you to the security group details page;
choose Inbound rules or Outboung rules, depending on the rule you want to create;
click on + Add rule;
the Create inbound rule or Create outbound rule pop up will open, asking for various parameters;
click on Save to finish.
