Only the name, tags and destination project of a security group can be edited.
Inbound and outbound rules cannot be edited once created. If you need other rules, you will need to create new ones.
To edit a security group, follow these steps:
- go to the details page of the VPC Network containing the security group you want to edit;
- the Security Group section contains a list of security groups connected to the VPC Network;
- find the one you want to edit and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
- select Manage Security Group from the list of options;
- this will take you to the security group details page;
- click on the Security Group actions button and select Edit Security Group;
- in the 1. Details section, you can make changes to:
- Security Group name;
- Tags;
- Click on Confirm to continue.
Click on
Confirm on the bottom right to save changes to the security group.
