A KMS with linked services active and active keys cannot be deleted; all linked services must be deleted first. The deletion of a KMS cannot be undone and charges paid in advance will be lost.
To delete a KMS, follow these steps:
- in the Key Management System section, find the KMS you want to delete and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
- select Delete from the list of options;
- alternatively, you can select Manage from the list of options, taking you to the KMS details page;
- click on the Actions button on the right and select Delete from the list of options;
- the Delete KMS window will open, asking you to confirm.
