Features
This template is a Linux CentOS 7 with Plesk Obsidian control panel.
With the control panel, you can boost the productivity, management, speed, security and ease-of-use of the apps and services available to your hosting customers on your server.
It has never been so easy to configure your server thanks to integration with services such as mail server, ftp server, web statistics, and more.
Increase your system's security as well as the protection enjoyed by all apps: the more secure uploads are with the FTP service, the more secure your emails will be, with a high level of anti-spam protection.
Give your customers the chance to sell your services themselves: the tools available are both useful and powerful, and they are already included, such as managing generated traffic and setting up space and usage limits for end users.
You can customise the control panel to suit you, and you can even have a different look for different kinds of user. You can also add your own company logo. In the same way, you can set a different language for each user.
Access
It can be accessed through SSH using the root username and relevant password.
Sign in to the Plesk control panel for the first time with the root username (afterwards use the admin username) and password chosen during set up at:
https://IPDELSERVER:8443
For example: if the server’s IP address is 1.2.3.4, you will need to sign in to the browser at:
https://1.2.3.4:8443/
The first time you access the Plesk control panel, you will be asked to provide your details (name, email and set a new password) and you will be required to enter the Plesk license activation code (trial version or purchased in leasing from the Cloud Control Panel) to continue.
Fail2ban is available on all CentOS templates. See the
tutorial for further details.
