Plesk

EOL (End Of Life)
This template is no longer available for creating new Cloud Servers.

Features

This template is a Windows 2012 R2 with Plesk 12.5 control panel;
With the control panel, you can boost the productivity, management, speed, security and ease-of-use of the apps and services available to your hosting customers on your server.
It has never been so easy to configure your server thanks to integration with services such as mail server, ftp server, web statistics, and more.
Increase your system's security as well as the protection enjoyed by all apps: the more secure uploads are with the FTP service, the more secure your emails will be, with a high level of anti-spam protection.
Give your customers the chance to sell your services themselves: the tools available are both useful and powerful, and they are already included, such as managing generated traffic and setting up space and usage limits for end users.
You can customise the control panel to suit you, and you can even have a different look for different kinds of user. You can also add your own company logo. In the same way, you can set a different language for each user.

Access

Administrative access is provided via remote desktop, with the Administrator login and the password chosen during setup.
Login to the Plesk control panel as Administrator the first time (then use admin afterwards) with the password chosen when activating at
https://IPDELSERVER:8443
For example: if the server's address is IP 1.2.3.4 you will need to login with the browser at this address:
https://1.2.3.4:8443/

Setup

The Windows firewall is active and blocks incoming traffic to the server on the following ports:

135 TCP UDP
137 TCP UDP
138 TCP UDP
139 TCP UDP
445 TCP

NB: the template is created without going through the Microsoft Sysprep utility because of compatibility issues with Plesk. For this reason, a Cloud Server created via this template must NOT be used as a Domain Controller for an Active Directory domain to avoid any problems.
