The service works with the settings configured during setup.
The service continues to work, but permissions for the database will be limited to read and delete only. The restart function (only available for a Cloud DBaaS with dedicated resources) is disabled.
The
Limited status is automatically assigned when the limit for
Storage is exceeded for a Cloud DBaaS:
- with shared resources and a MySQL database that have the option Exceeding the limit will not be permitted active;
- with shared resources and a Microsoft SQL Server database;
- with dedicated resources and a MySQL / Microsoft SQL Server database.
REACTIVATING THE SERVICE
To reactivate the service you will need to do at least one of the following:
- upgrade the storage resources;
- free up space in the database until the total storage used is below the limit of the plan;
- For a MySQL database with shared resources, if enabled, change option Exceeding the limit will not be permitted to The excess storage resource will be charged on a pay-per-use basis.
You will need to wait for the system to update the storage values before you can restore the service.
Once you have completed at least one of these steps, you need to click on
RESTORE SERVICE in
SERVICE ACTIONS of the Cloud DBaaS technical datasheet.
The inactive status is assigned by the system if the service is not renewed due to insufficient credit.
REACTIVATING THE SERVICE
To reactive the service, you will need to:
- Top up your credit so you have enough to cover at least 1 month.
- Click on RESTORE SERVICE in the SERVICE ACTIONS of the Cloud DBaaS technical datasheet.
