Cloning a VMware Cloud Server means creating a new server based on the software configuration and contents of the primary disk of an existing VMware Cloud Server.
To clone a VMware Cloud Server, you can create a custom template from the primary disk (HD 1) of the source VMware Cloud Server and use it to create the new VMware Cloud Server.
Cloning a VMware Cloud Server
- Create a personal templates from the primary disk (HD 1) of the VMware Cloud Server you want to clone;
- wait for the template creation to complete;
- create a new VMware Cloud Server using the custom template;
- complete the configuration of the new VMware Cloud Server.
