What Hybrid Link is and what it is used for
Hybrid Link lets you connect two active Aruba Cloud services, interconnecting on-premises, dedicated and cloud resources to handle workload peaks while maintaining full operational control.
Requirement
You can only create the service for resources that are active in the same
data center.
Types of resources you can connect
Cloud services that you can connect using a Hybrid Link are classified into two types:
- Source resource - the resource from which the Hybrid Link starts. It can be one of the following:
- Virtual Private Cloud;
- Unified Storage.
- Target resource - the resource to which the Hybrid Link connects. It can be one of the following:
- Virtual Private Cloud;
- Unified Storage;
- Custom service.
Services can be connected as shown in the following table:

You can connect the Virtual Private Cloud service to either Unified Storage or a custom service.
The Unified Storage service can only be connected to the Virtual Private Cloud service.
