Exporting activity log

Requirement
You must have an active
Object Storage service, or you can create one during the setup process.
To configure the export of logs in the activity log, follow these steps:
- sign in to the New Cloud Management Platform;
- in the left vertical menu, under UTILITIES select Activity log;
- in the Activity log area, select the Configure activity export tab;
- click on the Configure Export button;
- in the Configure Export procedure, provide the following details:
- 1. Activity
- If you do not change the Export all activities... option, logs for all services will be exported; by deselecting the option, you can choose which type and for which service to export logs.
- Select Continue.
- 2. Destination type
- Specify the type of medium you want to export the logs to.
- Select Continue.
- 3. Destination
- Choose the specific medium on which you want to export the logs; if you don’t have any active Object Storage, you can create one by selecting Create new Object Storage.
- Select Continue.
- Select Confirm on the right side of the sticky bar to complete configuration.
After configuring the export, the activity log logs (for the type you specified during setup) will be exported to the selected storage.
