The Cloud VPS service does not allow for downgrading the resources configured during creation.
With a Cloud VPS OpenStack Starter, you can upgrade size only from the Starter options.
With a Cloud VPS OpenStack Standard, you can upgrade size only from the Standard options.
To upgrade the resources of a Cloud VPS, follow these steps:
- go to the details page of the Cloud VPS for which you want to edit resources:
- select Resources under the name of the Cloud VPS;
- in the Server Features section, choose the new size;
- disk space equal to the difference between the old size and the new size will be added: if you have 40 GB of hard disk and choose 120 GB of hard disk, disk space of 80 GB will be added (equal to 120 GB - 40 GB);
- click on EDIT SERVER;
- the Confirm changes to Cloud Server resources pop up will open;
- if you want to restart the Cloud VPS select Start Cloud Server after change.;
- click on CONFIRM to finish the upgrade.
