2.2 Changing service resources

Go to the technical datasheet for the Cloud DBaaS for which you want to change the resources by clicking on "MANAGE".

Click on "Change" under the name of the service.
 
Cloud DBaaS DOES NOT permit the resources configured during setup to be downgraded. Resources can only be upgraded.

Changing resources is limited to the option of increasing your storage capacity.

Set the new value for storage using the "less" and "more" buttons.
 
For a MySQL database you can also change what happens if the limit stipulated in your plan is exceeded, by choosing between:
  • The excess storage resources will be charged on a pay-per-use basis.
  • Exceeding the limit will not be permitted.

Click on "SAVE CHANGES" in the pop-up window to confirm.

You can make the change to one or more resources (vCPU, RAM and Storage).

Set the new value for one or more resources using the "less" and "more" buttons.
 
If you are changing the vCPUs, the system will also change the RAM according to the rule of a 1 to 3 ratio.

Click on "SAVE CHANGES" in the pop-up window that will appear to confirm.
