To add Hosted Private Cloud, proceed as follows:
- log in to Aruba CMP;
- from the menu, select PRIVATE CLOUD & HYBRID > Private Cloud;
- in the VMware area, select Go to service;
- in the Hosted Private Cloud section, click Add Hosted Private Cloud;
- choose one of the available configurations and select Configure at the end of the corresponding row;
- you will be redirected to the cart.aruba.it shopping cart.
The following information is required during the purchase process:
Server configuration
The settings defined for a single node are automatically replicated across all selected nodes in the cluster.
- From the available settings, select the following:
- SERVER FEATURES
- RESOURCES you can upgrade the RAM;
- DISKS you can add data disks;
- CONTROLLER;
- NETWORK RESOURCES you can select the remote management system (KVM) and enter an optional comment. The note will be read by the Aruba Cloud technical team;
- CONNECTIVITY
- OPERATING SYSTEM if you selected VMware, you must specify the version and the disk on which to install it. You can also enter a comment, which will be read by the Aruba Cloud technical team;
- in the YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE area on the right, you can change the number of cluster nodes (Qty) and the service term (Duration);
- click CONTINUE and configure the next server.
HPC-Infrastructure server configuration
- From the available settings, select the following:
- SERVER FEATURES
- ACN QUALIFICATION if you select this option, you must also activate the Backup service (see the guide on ACN qualification);
- NETWORK RESOURCES you can select the public subnet (/28, /27 or /26) and enter an optional comment. The note will be read by the Aruba Cloud technical team;
- CONNECTIVITY you can select the bandwidth (1 Gb/s, 2 Gb/s or 10 Gb/s with unlimited traffic);
- MOBILE NETWORK choose whether to enable this option;
- ADDITIONAL SERVICES
- OPERATING SYSTEM LICENSES specify whether you want to activate additional VMware licenses;
- CLOUD BACKUP specify the number of licenses and disk space for VEEAM BACKUP (mandatory if you selected ACN qualification);
- in the YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE area on the right, you can change the number of cluster nodes (Qty) and the service term (Duration);
- click CONTINUE and go to the summary.
Summary
- A cost summary is displayed, including the monthly fee, activation cost and total order amount;
- click CONTINUE with the purchase.
LOGIN
- Select CONTINUE to complete the order.
Check your information
- Confirm or edit the details associated with your Cloud account and select CONFIRM.
Order summary and payment
- Choose one of the available payment methods and decide, where permitted, whether to enable automatic renewal;
- assign a name to the infrastructure;
- accept the terms and conditions and click CONFIRM ORDER and proceed to payment.
