1.2 Payment methods and automatic renewal

Accepted payment methods for Metal Cloud Infrastructure

Metal Cloud Infrastructure can be paid for using the following methods:

payment method	payment processing time	renewal
wallet	automatic and immediate	automatic ^[3]

PayPal	automatic and immediate ^[2]	automatic ^[3]
bank transfer	approximately 1-3 business days	manual
direct debit	approximately 1-5 business days	automatic
postal payment slip	approximately 3-5 business days	manual

1. Cloud account credit.
2. Subject to successful payment.
3. Optional.

Once the payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation from Aruba Cloud at the email address you provided during the order.

To enable automatic renewal, you must have registered a payment method.

Go to the Metal Cloud Infrastructure details page;
on the right-hand side, you can see the monthly cost, expiration date and automatic renewal status: Automatic renewal not enabled (gray toggle);
click the toggle;
in the Enable automatic renewal window, choose how often you want to renew the service and select a payment method;
click Renew to complete the operation.

If you selected direct debit, you cannot disable automatic renewal. To disable it, first change the payment method.

Go to the Metal Cloud Infrastructure details page;
on the right-hand side, you can see the monthly cost, expiration date and automatic renewal status: Automatic renewal enabled (blue toggle);
click the toggle to disable automatic renewal (gray toggle).

To register a payment method:

log in to the customer area using your credentials: Cloud account (in the format XXX-12345) and password;
click your profile in the top-right corner to open the drop-down menu and select Payment Methods;
to add a payment method, select + New payment method;
you can choose from:
- direct debit;
- credit card;
- PayPal.
