What the password is used for
To
access Harbor, you need the username and password you chose for the Container Registry.
This procedure can be used both to set and to change the password.
Password requirements
Make sure your password meets the following requirements:
- it must contain at least 14 alphanumeric characters;
- it must contain at least:
- one lowercase letter;
- one uppercase letter;
- one number;
- one of the following symbols: ! # $ % & @ ( [ { * + , . / - : ; = ? ) ] _ | \ }
- it cannot contain spaces;
- it cannot contain three identical consecutive characters (e.g. aaa or 111);
- the username cannot be used as part of the password.
Setting the password
- Go to the Container Registry details page;
- go to Container Registry actions and select Set password;
- in the window that opens, enter the password twice;
- select Confirm to save the password.
