What are uncompleted multipart uploads?
The multipart upload feature allows you to split a file into multiple parts, upload them separately and then reassemble them on the server. If the upload is interrupted or not completed, the parts that have already been uploaded remain in the bucket and count towards the storage space used.
The user is responsible for managing, deleting or resuming any uncompleted multipart uploads in the bucket.
Viewing uncompleted multipart uploads
Go to
Tools
>
Uncompleted Multipart Uploads
;
the
Uncompleted Multipart Uploads
window opens;
S3 Browser automatically scans the buckets;
once the scan is complete, the uncompleted multipart uploads are displayed.
Deleting an uncompleted multipart upload
Select one or more uploads and select
Abort Selected
, or select
Abort
from the context menu.
Resuming an uncompleted multipart upload
Right-click the upload and select
Resume
;
select the file for which you want to resume the upload and select
Open
.
