A record
An A record allows you to associate a hostname with an IPv4 address. You can create multiple A records and edit or delete them at any time. If you want to associate an IP address linked to a Cloud Server, select the data center, Cloud Server and IP address in the section on the right-hand side of the panel: the IPv4 address value will be automatically entered in the corresponding field.
The A record configuration requires:
Host,
IPv4 address and
TTL.
Host
The host identifies the third level of the domain associated with the DNS, for example:
hostname.domainname.ext
This field is optional.
IPv4 address
An IPv4 address consists of four groups of numbers (from 0 to 255) separated by dots, for example:
192.128.35.124
This field is required.
