CNAME record
CNAME records, also known as aliases, allow you to associate a hostname with another existing domain name. This is an indirect association: the host with the CNAME record points to another name, which in turn is associated with an A, AAAA or CNAME record.
The CNAME record configuration requires:
Host,
CNAME and
TTL.
Host
The host identifies a lower level of the domain, for example:
host.domainname.ext
This field is optional.
CNAME
The CNAME field specifies the domain name that you want the host to point to, for example:
www.domainname.ext
This field is required.
