1.3 Linking a service to the KMS

To link a KMS to the Virtual Private Cloud service, follow these steps:

in the Key Management System section, find the KMS you want to link and click on the three dots ... at the end of the line;
select Manage from the list of options;
this takes you to the KMS details page;
in the bottom part of the page, select the Linked services tab;
click on the button Link service;
- Services: select the type of service you want to link;
- Link name: give the link a name (naming rules)
click on the Actions button on the right and select Edit from the list of options;
this takes you to the Edit KMS section;
- in 1. KMS details, you can edit the name and tags;
- click on Confirm to continue;
- in 2. Plan, 3. Location and 4. Billing frequency, changes are not permitted;
click on Confirm on the right of the sticky bar to make the changes.
