06 Invoices and billing for Aruba Cloud services

Billing method for Aruba Cloud services

Aruba applies summary/unified billing, which groups together all operations carried out in the same billing period for the payment of any Aruba Cloud product.

The unified system replaces the standard billing method only when orders are:
  • placed by the same customer;
  • placed in the same billing period;
  • paid using the same payment method.
If you make two payments in the same billing period using different payment methods, for example one by postal payment slip and one by bank transfer, Aruba issues two summary invoices, one for each payment method.

Receiving invoices

Aruba issues more than one invoice per month. Invoices are automatically sent by email to the address associated with the holder details provided when placing the order. They are sent by the 15th day of the month following payment registration, for both purchase and renewal orders.

All invoices are published on the dedicated website fatture.aruba.it, where you can view and download them at any time.

To view and download your invoices, connect to fatture.aruba.it, then enter your Italian tax code or VAT number and your Billing ID. The Billing ID is generated when the first invoice is issued. If you do not know your Billing ID, you can retrieve it by clicking the Request ID button. It will be sent by email to the address associated with the holder details provided during the order.

Following the introduction of Electronic Invoicing, effective from 1 January 2019, invoice documents published on the dedicated website are courtesy copies and are not valid for tax purposes unless correctly accepted by the Italian Exchange System, known as SDI (Sistema di Interscambio) of the Italian Revenue Agency. You can also download your electronic invoices processed through SDI by accessing the Invoices and Receipts web service on the Italian Revenue Agency portal.

For legal entities, such as sole proprietorships, companies, associations, organizations, associated professional firms, freelancers, or Public Administrations, an identifier for sending electronic invoices can be specified when placing the first order and/or during subsequent credit top-ups.
