1.6 Deleting a Backup for Microsoft 365 accounts

In case of an immediate cancellation of a Backup for Microsoft 365 account (both shared and dedicated solutions), any prepaid cost for that specific service will be lost. At the time of cancellation, the backups will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered, the configurations for Veeam Service Provider Console and Veeam Restore Portal will be deleted, and access will not be possible.

To proceed with the deletion of the Backup for Microsoft 365 account, log in to the technical data sheet of the account you wish to eliminate by clicking on the MANAGE button.

Click on the DELETE SERVICE button in the SERVICE ACTIONS area.

The Delete username_company window will appear where you need to choose between two options:
  • dd/mm/yyyy, the end date of the prepaid period
     
    By choosing this option the cancellation can be undone before the end of the prepaid period.
    The service status will remain Active until the end of the prepaid period, but you will not be able to make changes to the tariff plans (users and space), and any scheduled changes to the renewal will be eliminated.
  • Proceed now
     
    By choosing this option, the cancellation will be immediate and irreversible. The service status in the Backup for Microsoft 365 Account Management section will change from Active to In cancellation and the MANAGE button will be disabled until the cancellation process is complete.
Please confirm the requested operation and click OK, CONFIRM.
