Configuring a Cloud Server IP address

How to reconfigure the IP address of a Cloud Server with a Windows operating system

sign in to the Cloud Server using the recovery console;
from the Start button, click on Control Panel;
select Network and Internet;
then Network and Sharing Center;
click on Change adapter settings on the left;
in the Network Connections windows, you will find the option Lan 1, right-click with the mouse and select Properties;
select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on Properties;
this will take you to the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window;
replace the IP address values:
- IP address (replace completely, all four octets);
- Default gateway (partially replace, only the first three octets);
- Alternate DNS server (partially replace, only the first three octets);
press OK to confirm;
Once you have completed the following procedure, we recommend restarting the Cloud Server.
