Linking the KMS to a service
To link a KMS to the Virtual Private Cloud service, follow these steps:
- in the Key Management System section, find the KMS you want to link and select the three dots at the end of the corresponding row;
- select Manage from the list;
- on the KMS details page, select the Linked services tab at the bottom of the page;
- select + Link service;
- the Link service window opens. Enter the following information:
- Services: select the type of service you want to link;
- Link name: enter a name for the link (follow the naming rules);
- select Link service to confirm;
You can repeat the linking process without limits for the same service or for other services.
The certificate and private key will be available for download when the linked service status is
Certificate available.
Once the link has been created, you must
download the certificate and the private key to
link Virtual Private Cloud to the KMS.
