Before connecting a Cloud Server to the Unified Storage service:
- you must have the mount point, which you can retrieve from the details page of the selected protocol in the Control Panel:

- you must have created a connection between the Cloud Server and the Unified Storage service VLAN from the Network Adapters area on the Cloud Server details page (VMware Cloud Server or Cloud Server Hyper-V);
- if you use the iSCSI protocol, you must have added the Cloud Server iQN code to the iSCSI protocol.
