3.2 Credit usage

If you have sufficient credit, the resources and services will be renewed automatically when they expire, regardless of the cost type: whether calculated by hour, month, calendar month or annually.
 
If you do not intend to renew a resource or service, you must cancel it manually before it expires. If you do not cancel it manually, the service will be renewed automatically.
 
For resources or services charged by the month, calendar month or annually (thus paid for in advance), we recommend cancelling just before they expire.
 
The table below summarizes the resources to be paid for according to the hypervisor chosen and the status of the Cloud Server PRO:

Remember that:
  • the cost of the Cloud Server VPS service is not affected by the service status (on or off);
  • the cost of the Cloud Server PRO service with a monthly/annual price plan is not affected by the service status (on, off or archived).

The resources that the user has selected and configured are always available, guaranteed and exclusively reserved.

The customer is free to change the amount of resources used at any time, apart from hard disks, for which capacity cannot be downgraded.

In the "Manage" section of the "CLOUD SERVER" service, you can check the status (on/off) of each Cloud Server PRO/VPS.
In the "Archive" section of the "CLOUD SERVER" service, you can see the archived Cloud Servers PRO.
The Private Cloud service is calculated on 6 resources made available to the user:
  • vCPU
  • RAM
  • Storage (HD)
  • Firewall
  • Network resources (Public IP addresses)
  • vLAN
The resources can be increased by the customer at any time. The volume of incoming and outgoing data traffic is included free of charge.

The user can choose whether to activate additional services:
  • Zerto - DRaaS (Disaster Ricovery as a Service)
  • Veeam - BaaS (Backup as a Service)
The Private Cloud service is calculated on a monthly basis (30 days).
The Object Storage service is calculated on 4 resources made available to the user:
  • disk space (counted in GB or TB);
  • incoming traffic (counted in GB or TB);
  • outgoing traffic (counted in GB or TB);
  • requests (counted per request).

Users can choose which price plan to use according to their needs. There are 2 price plans:
  • pay-per-use (fixed cost of the resources);
  • package (total cost for a quantity of resources to be used within 30 days).

The volume of incoming traffic and requests are free of charge regardless of the type of price plan selected.

The choice of payment option depends on how the customer will use the Object Storage service. For just a few upload/download operations (such as backup for example), we recommend the pay-per-use option. For frequent use, we recommend one of the price plans. You can change your price plan at any time. Each Object Storage account created can have a different price plan.

If you switch from a price plan to the pay-per-use option, the change will be implemented at the end of the 30-day period for the previous plan.
 
As the price plan is paid for in advance for the following 30 days, we recommend that you make any changes to price plans towards the end of the 30-day period to avoid losing the amount paid for the plan you are leaving. The cost of the service will be updated immediately on switching between price plans.

If an Object Storage account linked to a price plan is deleted, the amount already charged for that particular price plan will be lost.
The domain registration/transfer service has an annual cost and is paid for in advance.

The domain name registration/transfer service includes the following:
  • Whois Privacy - annual cost, paid for in advance.
The DNS service is charged monthly (30 days) in advance.
 
If a user deletes a DNS, they will lose the amount paid for the days up to the expiry of the service.
The service lets you buy one or more Monitoring plans charged monthly (30 days). If you purchase a Monitoring plan, you will be charged immediately, regardless of whether or not the service is used within the next 30 days.
 
The Monitoring Free plan is free of charge and reserved for customers with an active Cloud Server PRO: it is possible to activate a number of Monitoring Free plans lower than or equal to the number of Cloud Server PRO purchased.


When a Monitoring plan is activated (regardless of whether it is a Free or paid plan), it is also possible to activate the SMS Notification service, calculated on a pay-per-use basis for each SMS. The SMS Notification service can be activated or cancelled at any time.
The Cloud Backup service is calculated on 4 resources made available to the user:
  • Disk space (counted in GB or TB)
  • Incoming traffic (counted in GB or TB)
  • Outgoing traffic (counted in GB or TB)
  • Backup agents (counted per backup agent)
Users can choose the payment option according to their needs. There are 2 price plans:
  • Pay-Per-Use (fixed cost of the resources)
  • Package (total cost for a quantity of resources to be used within 30 days)
The volume of incoming and outgoing Traffic is free of charge irrespective of the type of price plan selected.

The Application Platform Cloud service is calculated on 4 virtualized resources made available to the user:
  • Cloudlet - micro instances (128MB RAM and 400MHz CPU) to be used directly within the Application Platform
  • Environment - the environment that will host the application
  • Storage - the dedicated space in GB
  • Public IPs
Users can choose which payment option to use according to their needs. There are 2 price plans:
  • Pay-per-use (fixed cost of the resources calculated at an hourly rate)
  • Package (total cost for a quantity of resources to be used within 30 days)

You cannot switch from pay-per-use to a price plan.

The price plan can be changed at any time. Each Application Platform Cloud account can have a different payment option.

If a service is not renewed due to insufficient credit, the service status will change to "Inactive".
