Uninstall the Backup Agent from a Windows Server
- Access (RDP) the server;
- go to the Control Panel (Start > Control Panel);
- select the Programs and Features option;
- right-click on the EVault Software Agent agent and confirm using the Unistall button;
- in the dialog box that appears, click on Yes;
- select the Total Uninstall option and confirm by clicking on Next >.
After uninstalling the Backup agent, we advise you to reboot the server.
Uninstall the Backup Agent from a Linux Server
- Access (SSH) the server;
- run the following from the command line:
/opt/BUAgent/uninstall.sh
press the enter key;VVAgent is still running. Do you wish to stop it? ([Y]/n)
type in the letter y and press the enter key;This will remove jobs, settings, etc. (y/[N])
type in the letter y and press the enter key.
After uninstalling the Backup agent, we advise you to reboot the server.
