What to do after creating a Backup account
Once the Backup account has been created, the
Complete configuration page is displayed. To use the Cloud Backup service, you must install the connection agent on your servers and configure the backups. The procedure varies depending on the selected technology:
- Commvault: access Commvault Command Center by clicking SIGN IN, download the connection agent and install it on the servers you want to protect. Then, configure the backups from Command Center;
- EVault: download the connection agent using the link provided in the Install the backup Agent on your Servers section and install it on the servers you want to protect. Then, access the management console by clicking SIGN IN and configure the backups.
In both cases, the credentials used to access the management console are the same as those specified when creating the Backup account.
