Partitioning types
Disk partitioning is a fundamental step in server configuration, as it affects performance, data management and system security.
The partitioning type to use depends on the Bare Metal model and the selected operating system. There are three partitioning types:
- LVM / XFS (Logical Volume Manager / Extent File System) - Linux.
- ZFS (Zettabyte File System) - Linux.
- NTFS (New Technology File System) - Windows.
