Pay-per-use price plans
By choosing the
Pay-per-use price plan, you pay for the resources you use on an hourly basis.
Once you have chosen the Pay-per-use plan, you will no longer be able to switch to a package plan: this choice is final.
Package price plans
If you choose a
package price plan, you pay for the service in advance for a set amount of resources that you can use within 30 days. Package price plans are structured as follows:
When you choose a package price plan, you must specify
how the system should handle resources exceeding those included in the plan. This option is available when creating an Application Platform Cloud account with a package price plan, but it can also be changed when
editing the package price plan.
Resources exceeding those included in the price plan
The following two options are available:
- Pay according to the Pay-per-use plan.
If you exceed the resources included in the plan, the system will calculate the additional usage according to the Pay-per-use model.
- Prevent exceeding the quotas included in the plan.
If you choose to prevent exceeding the included resources, the system will prevent usage beyond the purchased quotas.
You can choose the option to prevent exceeding the quotas only when creating the account. You will not be able to select it later when editing the account. We recommend that you carefully read the
section on account rules.
