What a cluster is and why to use it
A Cloud Server cluster (Virtual Data Center) allows you to create multiple Cloud Servers at the same time using the same configuration.
During the procedure, you only need to select the common settings once, such as the region, zone, template, size, storage, networking and billing option. The platform automatically creates the number of Cloud Servers you specified, applying the same configuration to each of them.
This option is recommended when you need to deploy environments consisting of multiple servers with identical characteristics, such as application clusters, high-availability infrastructures, test environments or scalable configurations, reducing configuration time compared to creating each Cloud Server individually.
Creating a Cloud Server cluster

- from the menu, select Public Cloud > Compute;
- in the Virtual Data Center - Cloud Server Cluster area, select Go to Virtual Data Centers;
- in the Virtual Data Center - Cloud Server Cluster section, select Create Virtual Data Center;
- the Create Virtual Data Center procedure is the same as the one used to create a single Cloud Server, except for 1. Information:
- assign a name to the Virtual Data Center (follow the naming rules);
- the Cloud Servers created will use the Virtual Data Center name as a prefix;
- you can associate one or more tags with the Virtual Data Center (follow the tagging rules);
