Edit (Manage Reverse)
Reverse DNS management is not available for public IP addresses associated with Cloud VPS instances.
On the

Managing the resource associated with a public IP address
If the public IP address is associated with a Cloud Server, you can access the Cloud Server management page directly:
- access the public IP address details page;
- select the Edit (Manage Reverse) tab;
- in the Associated Resource section, locate the relevant Cloud Server;
- select MANAGE.
For information about associating and disassociating public IP addresses, see the guide
Associating and disassociating a public IP address with a Cloud Server.
Deleting one or more public IP addresses
The deletion procedures described in this guide apply only to public IP addresses for OpenStack and VMware Cloud Servers. Public IP addresses for Cloud VPS instances are visible in the Control Panel but cannot be managed separately from the Cloud VPS service.
Deleting a public IP address is irreversible. Once deleted, the IP address may become available for reassignment and could be acquired by other customers. There is no guarantee that you will be able to purchase the same IP address again.
You can delete a public IP address only if it is INACTIVE, meaning that it is not associated with a Cloud Server. If the public IP address is still associated with a Cloud Server, you must first disassociate it.
Deleting a single public IP address
- access the details page of the public IP address you want to delete;
- check that the PUBLIC IP STATUS is INACTIVE;
- in the PUBLIC IP ACTIONS section, select DELETE;
- confirm the deletion.
Deleting multiple public IP addresses
- access the list of public IP addresses in the Control Panel, under Network > Public IPs;
- locate the inactive public IP addresses you want to delete;
- select the checkboxes corresponding to the relevant IP addresses;
- select DELETE IPS SELECTED;
- confirm the deletion.
