07 Extending the disk volume with the added space

This guide applies to:

• VMware Cloud Server

• Cloud VPS Hyper-V

After increasing the disk size, you need to extend the disk volume to use the space you have added. If you do not perform this operation, the added space will remain unallocated and will therefore not be detected by the Cloud Server operating system. The procedure depends on the operating system installed on your Cloud Server:

• Windows Cloud Server
• Linux Cloud Server
