1.3 Managing a DBaaS

Accessing the DBaaS details page

• Sign in to the Aruba Cloud Management Platform;
• from the menu, select PUBLIC CLOUD > Database Foundation;
• in the DBaaS area, select Go to your DBaaS;
• in the Database as a Service section, locate the DBaaS and select the three dots at the end of the corresponding row;
• select Manage from the list.

Editing the DBaaS

• Go to the DBaaS details page;
• select DBaaS actions and then select Edit;
• in the Edit DBaaS procedure, you can only make changes to the following sections:
  • 1. Information
    • name (follow the naming rules) and tags (follow the tagging rules);
  • 5. Storage
    • the amount of storage (you can increase it, but you cannot reduce it);
       
      While the storage is being increased, the database is unavailable for a few minutes.
    • Autoscaling;
• select Confirm on the right-hand side of the sticky bar to apply the changes.
