This template is a Windows 2008 R2 with Plesk 10.4.4 control panel;
With the control panel you can increase productivity, management, speed, security, and improve the usability of applications and services provided to your customers in hosting in your server.
Configuring the server has never been so simple thanks also to the integration with services such as mail server, ftp server, web statistics …
Increase the security of the system as well as the protection of all the applications: safer uploads with the FTP service, safer emails with high AntiSpam protection.
Provide your customers with the possibility to become resellers of your services: interesting and powerful tools are provided and are included such as management of generated traffic, the possibility to set space and use restrictions for the final user…
You will be able to customise the control panel according to your preferences and even have a different design for each type of user, you can also add your company logo. At the same time you can configure a different language for each user.
How to access
Admin access is provided via remote desktop, with the Admin user and the password chosen during the creation process.
Access to the Plesk control panel is made with admin user and the password chosen during the activation process at https://IPDELSERVER:8443
Example: if the server has the address IP 1.2.3.4 you will need to connect with the browser at https://1.2.3.4:8443/
Configurations
Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection is preinstalled in the system.
The windows firewall is active with rules that block incoming traffic to the server on the following ports:
135 TCP UDP
137 TCP UDP
138 TCP UDP
139 TCP UDP
445 TCP
Note: the template is created without going through Microsoft’s Sysprep utility for compatibility problems with Plesk, for this reason a Cloud Server created through this template must NOT be used as a Domain Controller of an Active Directory domain to avoid malfunctions.
Versions of packages
The template is provided with Microsoft’s Service Pack 1 and all the security patches installed up to the 27/04/2012, new versions with recent fixes will be provided on a regular basis.
