General description of the Cloud Backup service
The Cloud Backup service allows you to create one or more Backup accounts to access the management console and configure the servers to be backed up. The available
pricing plans (pay-as-you-go and package plans) differ in the number of connection agents and the storage space provided. Incoming and outgoing traffic (generated when performing or restoring backups) is included and unlimited.
Through the management console (Commvault or EVault), you can configure servers and set up backups by defining:
- which data to select (files, folders, file systems and other data);
- the data retention period (retention);
- the backup schedule.
You can also create and customize the type of backup according to your needs, using clear and quick procedures. You can access the management console at any time to restore a backup to a server.
