2.6.3 Auto top-up: activate, change and cancel the auto top-up service

The auto top-up service enables your credit to be topped up automatically when the warning limit is reached. Auto top-ups can be activated using credit card or PayPal. This service is available for the following Aruba Cloud accounts AWI-12345, ARU-12345, AFR-12345, and AES-12345.

There are two ways of activating the service: In both cases, sign in to your Customer Area using your login details, then click on the "CLOUD" tab.



Remember that you can change the auto top-up service (in terms of the amounts) or cancel it at any time.

Activating as you top up

Follow the normal top-up process by clicking on "TOP-UP" on the right,

and when you reach step "5 PAYMENT", you will see a screen like this.



If you tick the checkbox "Activate the Auto top-up!" the system will automatically charge your credit card (or PayPal account, depending on your payment option) a sum equivalent to the amount set (100 Euro in the example) if your credit falls below the selected threshold (15 Euro in the example). To confirm activation, simply complete the top-up process.
Remember that the amount you set when activating auto top-up will then change the amount entered for the minimum balance warning.
After completing the process the auto top-up service will be active.

Manual activation

Click on "Set up top-up amount" in the "Auto top-up" section under "Credit balance".

A window like this will appear.



Set the threshold (15 Euro in the example) below which you want to top up automatically and the amount of the top-up (100 Euro in the example). Then confirm by clicking "SET UP AUTO TOP-UP". If using a credit card, a payment of 0.01 Euro will be made, for the sole purpose of verifying the credit card details. At the end of the process, the auto top-up service will be active.

Changing the auto top-up

Select "Manage your credit" from the menu on the left of the "CLOUD" section,


the "Auto top-up" section is on the right.


By clicking on "CHANGE" you will see a window like this,



make the changes that you want to make and confirm by clicking on "SET UP AUTO TOP-UP".

Cancelling auto top-up

Select "Manage your credit" from the menu on the left of the "CLOUD" section,


and you will find the "Auto top-up" section on the right.



If you click on "Cancel auto top-up", a window will open in which you need to confirm the cancellation of the auto top-up service.
